Women's Golf Finishes Seventh At Price's Give Em Five Intercollegiate

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma women's golf team took seventh-place honors at the Price's Give Em Five Intercollegiate Tournament in Las Cruces, N.M., today. The Sooners shot a third-round 308 and recorded a tournament total of 919, 25 strokes behind tournament champion Baylor. The 20-team field played at the 6,303-yard, par-72 University Golf Course.

Junior Lisa Meldrum shot a third-round 76 for a total of 225 to tie for 11th place with junior Hope Edge who posted a one-over-par 73 today. Senior Allison Johnson finished tied for 39th after recording a 79 today for a total of 233 strokes while sophomore Emily Milberger shot an 80 and tied for 49th with 236 total strokes. Freshman Erin Goranson, playing in her first collegiate tournament, finished 91st after posting a third-round 84 for a total of 249.

The Sooners conclude their fall season at the Charleston Invitational in Kiawah Island, S.C., on Nov. 4-5.
