OU Gymnastics to Honor America's Heroes

NORMAN, Okla. - The University of Oklahoma athletic department has announced that the home season-opening meet for the Sooner men's and women's gymnastics teams will be a "Salute to America's Heroes." The competition is scheduled for Jan. 20 at 2 p.m. at the Lloyd Noble Center, and will feature the top-ranked OU men against No. 7 Iowa and No. 17 Air Force, and the 13th-ranked OU women against No. 18 Ohio State.

In recognition of the daily efforts of those we have come to appreciate as heroes, the Sooners will invite local police, fire and military personnel and their families to enjoy the fun and excitement of NCAA gymnastics.
