Public Sale Announced For OU-North Texas Tickets

NORMAN, Okla. - Some, 1,100 tickets for Saturday's Oklahoma-North Texas football game will go on sale to the public Friday morning.

The tickets became available when they were returned to OU by University of North Texas' athletics department.

"Despite being sold out in Memorial Stadium, we are pleased to be able to offer our fans this opportunity to purchase tickets returned by the University of North Texas," said OU Athletics Director Joe Castiglione. "We don't anticipate this situation being available for many more games and we would encourage Sooner fans who do not have season tickets to take advantage of this sale."

The tickets, which sell for $35 each, will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis from the ticket office located at the southwest corner of Memorial Stadium, near the corner of Asp and Lindsey. That office will open at 8 a.m., Friday. The office will close at 5 p.m., Friday, then open again 2 p.m., Saturday.
