Sooner Lady Golfers Finish Ninth at Central Regional

NORMAN, Okla. -- The University of Oklahoma women's golf team finished their season with a ninth place finish at the NCAA Central Regional. The Sooners shot a score of 324 at the Kampen Course in West Layfayette, Ind.
Freshman Lisa Meldrum carded a 76 for the day to tie for 14th, while junior Jennifer Tannehill shot an 81. Junior Wendy Martin carded an 83 and sophomore Allison Johnson ended today's play with a score of 84. Redshirt-freshman Hope Edge shot an 86.
"I am very proud of this team and what they have accomplished this year," said head coach Carol Ludvigson. "I am really looking forward to next year, because our team is continually growing as individuals on and off the course."
