STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) - There was nothing wrong with No. 10 Oklahoma that a few halftime adjustments couldn't cure.
After shooting poorly in the first half Saturday night, the Sooners executed their offense more crisply and shot 81 percent in the final 20 minutes of a 76-47 victory over Oklahoma State.
Caton Hill had 22 points and a career-high 19 rebounds, LeNeishea Caufield scored 20 and Stacey Dales had 18 points and 10 rebounds as the Sooners (19-4, 10-1 Big 12) won their 10th straight.
"We had to have more movement on the offensive end," Oklahoma coach Sherri Coale said. "They were real physical on our cuts (in the first half) and we kind of gave up and were content to just stand.
"In the second half, we did a much better job of setting up our cuts and getting things going to the basket."
The result was a wide margin of victory after what had been a close game for 30 minutes. The Sooners only led 45-39 with 10:25 remaining before going on a 28-4 run to put the game away.
"I thought our intensity picked up and I am really proud of our team because we have not seen a lot of shooting adversity," Coale said. "We have had pretty good fortune putting the ball in the basket. The first half was as poorly as we have shot it in a long, long time."
The Sooners were 10-of-31 in the first half and, as a result, only led 24-18 at halftime. That was due in part to Oklahoma State's poor shooting - the Cowgirls were 8-of-30 in the first half and wound up 20-of-68 (29 percent).
Oklahoma State (12-10, 4-7) got just 16 points from its starting five. Chantoya Hawkins came off the bench to score 15 and was the only Cowgirl player in double figures.
"Once Oklahoma got going, I felt like we didn't compete well down the stretch in the last 10 or 12 minutes," coach Dick Halterman said.
"They just started beating us up and down the floor. They shot 80 percent. They shot a lot of layups and a lot of uncontested jumpers. We took all of those away from them in the first half."
Kara Faulk, Oklahoma State's leading scorer with a 10.8 average, was 1-for-12 from the field. Shelby Hutchins, another starter, was 2-for-10.
Hill shot 9-of-14 and grabbed 14 defensive rebounds. Caufield shot 9-for-14 and Dales was 8-for-12.
