  • Today's loss snapped a 19-game winning streak at home for Oklahoma. OU's last loss at home came against Colorado on Oct. 3, 1998.
  • Today's loss was Oklahoma's first at home during the Bob Stoops coaching era.
  • Oklahoma's last loss to Oklahoma State came on Nov. 24, 1998, a 41-26 win for the Cowboys in Stillwater.
  • OU's last loss to OSU in Norman was on Nov. 8, 1997, when the Cowboys won 30-7.
  • Today's attendance was 75,537, giving Oklahoma its 18th sellout in a row.
  • Oklahoma's Derrick Strait had his second and third interceptions of the season in the first quarter. His first came against North Carolina in the season's opening game and he returned it for a touchdown. Today's picks were the fourth and fifth interceptions of his career.
  • Today was Strait's first multi-interception game and he became the first Sooner to accomplish that feat since Roy Williams picked off two passes against North Texas on Sept. 8.
  • Quentin Griffin extended his streak of having at least one reception in a game to 29, spanning his entire OU career. He had six catches for 66 yards today.
  • Oklahoma punter Jeff Ferguson had his 11th punt of the season downed inside the 10-yard line and his 19th downed inside the 20.
  • Ferguson also had the 47th punt of 50-plus yards in his career in the second quarter.
  • Matt McCoy intercepted his third pass of the season and of his career in the second quarter. The interception set up a Quentin Griffin TD run to give OU a 7-0 lead.
  • Griffin's touchdown run was his ninth of the season and the 28th of his career. In all, he has 31 career touchdowns (28 rushing, three receiving).
  • Oklahoma has scored 97 points off of turnovers on the season.
  • Trent Smith had four catches for 36 yards in today's game. He now has 108 catches for his career, the all-time Oklahoma mark for tight ends. He passed Stephen Alexander (1994-97), who amassed 104 catches in his career.
  • Tim Duncan has now made 12 consecutive field goals.
  • Duncan extended his Oklahoma record by making his 19th and 20th field goals of the season in today's game.
  • Duncan now has now connected on 44 field goals during his OU career, breaking the Oklahoma record for most field goals made. Tim Lashar (1983-86) made 43 field goals on his career.
  • Mark Clayton eclipsed the 500-yard receiving mark in today's game. He already holds the OU freshman single-season yardage mark with 519 yards.
