Oklahoma Cable Sytems, DirecTV, Dish Network To Offer OU-Tulsa On Pay-Per-View

NORMAN, Okla. - Several Oklahoma cable systems and satellite services DirecTV and DISH Network will offer Saturday's Tulsa-Oklahoma college football game to their customers on pay-per-view. Suggested retail price is $24.95 for the 2 p.m. CST kickoff from Memorial Stadium in Norman.

Big 12 Special Order Sports, Fox Sports Net's pay-per-view division, is producing and distributing the telecast to participating programming providers in Oklahoma. Bill Jones (play-by-play), Dallas Cowboys scouting director and former OU assistant coach Larry Lacewell (analyst) and Oklahoma City FOX affiliate KOKH-TV Sports Director Zach Klein (sideline reporter) call the action.

The game is being televised on pay-per-view because it was not selected for over-the-air broadcast, regional syndication or cable television coverage. Under conference TV rules, games not picked up for regular television distribution can only be televised on pay-per-view in the states of the participating schools.

DirecTV (Channel 780) and DISH Network (Channel 502) are making the telecast available nationwide to alumni groups and commercial establishments.

Programming providers will offer the telecast to their customers on a specially designated pay-per-view channel. The telecast will not pre-empt Fox Sports Net's regularly scheduled programming.

The game will be replayed throughout Fox Sports Net's Southwest region (Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana and parts of New Mexico) on Sunday, Nov. 4 at 2 a.m. CST.
