Clayton's eight receptions were the most ever by an Oklahoma freshman wide receiver. Also, he is the first freshman to surpass 100 yards receiving in a game since Antwone Savage did so versus Texas in 1999.
Clayton's 108 yards receiving tie him for the second most yards ever for an OU freshman in a single game. Tinker Owens had 108 yards receiving versus Nebraska in 1972, and also holds the highest total (132 yards in the Sugar Bowl versus Penn State, Dec. 31, 1972).
Clayton's eight catches and 108 yards were both career highs. His previous career highs came against Texas on Oct. 6, when he caught six passes for 65 yards.

His 18 catches in the last two games breaks the record for most catches in back-to-back games, previously held by Eddie Hinton. Hinton caught 17 passes over a two-game span against Nebraska and Oklahoma State in 1968, good for 252 yards and a touchdown.

In his first ever start, White became just the second OU quarterback to have 30 completions in a game (he had 32 today). Josh Heupel accomplished that feat six times.
