NORMAN, Okla. - Gametime for the eagerly anticipated football matchup between Oklahoma and Nebraska on Oct. 27 has been set for 11 a.m. CDT. The game will be televised nationally by ABC. The broadcast will mark the sixth time this season that OU has been televised nationally, including four times on ABC, during the 2001 campaign.

The Sooners will be making their first return trip to Lincoln, Neb., since 1997. OU owns a 40-36-3 lead in the all-time series between the two schools, while Nebraska holds a slight edge in games played in Lincoln by a margin of 20-17-2. The Sooners emerged victorious in the last series meeting -- a 31-14 win in Norman last year, a key victory en route to OU's seventh national title.
