  • Today's attendance (74,794) was the largest of the season and marked the eighth-straight sellout at Memorial Stadium.

  • Senior Josh Heupel's four-yard touchdown pass to Josh Norman in the third quarter was the 36th of his OU career, moving him into first place ahead of Cale Gundy on the career touchdown pass list at Oklahoma. Heupel later threw another touchdown pass to freshman Renaldo Works in the fourth quarter to finish the day with 37 career touchdown tosses.

  • Heupel, in only his 14th regular season game, moved into fifth place on the all-time total offense chart after passing for 324 yards and rushing for 14 yards. Heupel's overall offensive output for his career now totals 4,284 yards.

  • Heupel's passing total of 324 yards marked his 10th 300-plus passing day of his career.

  • Heupel's 77.1 (27-for-35) completion percentage was his second best ever. His best came last season against Indiana State when he completed 77.5 percent (31-for-40) of his throws. Two weeks ago against Arkansas State, Heupel completed 75 percent (24-for-32) of his passes.

  • Sophomore Antwone Savage tied his career best with six receptions and totaled 63 yards. Savage also recorded six receptions last season against Texas and Ole Miss.

  • Sophomore running back Quentin Griffin scored three rushing touchdowns today (two, three and 21 yards), marking the second time this season that an OU running back has accomplished the feat. Freshman Renaldo Works scored three touchdowns against UTEP in the season opener.

  • Griffin's 43-yard scamper in the third quarter was his longest run from scrimmage of his career. His 18 points also marked a career high.

  • Redshirt-freshman defensive back Derrick Strait recorded his first career sack in the first quarter while senior Corey Callens' third-quarter sack was his first of the season and eighth of his career.

  • Junior college transfer Howard Duncan made his first career start today on the offensive line.

  • Sophomore Damian Mackey's six-yard reception in the first quarter tied former OU receiver Eddie Hinton's record of 15 consecutive games of catching at least one pass. Mackey has caught at least one pass in all 15 of his career games.

  • With 14 points in the first quarter, OU extended its streak of scoring in the first period to 12 straight games.

  • Heupel's first-quarter touchdown was his third of the season and eighth of his career.

  • Heupel's 15-yard scramble in the third quarter was the longest run from scrimmage in his career.

  • Griffin's eight-yard reception in the third quarter marked the eighth straight game the sophomore recorded a reception, tying him with James Allen for most consecutive games a running back has caught a pass. Allen recorded a reception in eight straight games during the 1996 season.

  • Redshirt-freshman Brandon Everage's fourth-quarter interception was the first of his career.

  • The Sooners have scored 40 or more points in three consecutive games for the 19th time in history. OU has scored 40 or more points in four straight games just five times.
