Oklahoma Vs. Nebraska Postgame Notes

  • Oklahoma extends its home winning streak to six games. The Sooners are 11-1 at the Lloyd Noble Center this season.

  • OU has now won 10-straight games, second best in school history. The 1983-84 team won 11-staight.

  • Sophomore LaNeishea Caufield scored a season-high 26 points, hitting 10 of 14 from the field. Her 10 field goals erased her previous season high, 8, against Colorado.

  • The last time OU won 19 games in a single season was in 1994-95 (22-9).

  • Oklahoma has won 18 of its last 19 games.

  • With a 91-69 win, the Sooners snap Nebraska's five-game winning-streak against OU.

  • Oklahoma is now 17-0 when leading at intermission.

  • Four Sooners scored in double digits, led by Caufield and Whaley who scored 26 a piece, followed by Caton Hill's 15 and Stacey Dales' 10 points.

  • Senior All-America candidate Phylesha Whaley has scored in double digits in all 22 games this season.

  • Oklahoma is the only team in the Big 12 Conference to have ever won nine-straight games in conference play.

  • When playing a televised game, OU is 4-1.

  • Oklahoma's 22-point margin of victory is the largest over the Cornhuskers since the 1990 season when OU defeated Nebraska by 25, 102-77.

  • With three steals this afternoon, sophomore LaNeishea Caufield move up to the No. 12 slot on OU's career record list. She has now pocketed 142 steals in two years.

  • Caufield and Whaley combined for 52 of Oklahoma's 91 points.

  • With the win against Nebraska, Oklahoma now has only two teams to beat to reach its goal of defeating all five programs that a Sherri Coale-coached squad is winless against. OU has defeated Texas Tech, Missouri and Nebraska and is winless against Iowa State and Kansas.

  • Today's attendance of 3,031 is the 15th best in school history.

  • With four assists Whaley set a season best, her previous high had been three assists in three different contests.
