OU's Orange Bowl Ticket Distribution List To Be Finalized This Week

NORMAN, Okla. - University of Oklahoma Director of Athletics Joe Castiglione announced today that all customers who requested Orange Bowl tickets through the OU Athletic Ticket Office will be notified on the status of their order beginning this week. The ticket office will mail notification via postcard to all such fans.

"In an effort to be proactive, we mailed bowl game ticket applications to all donors and season ticket holders on Nov. 1," said Castiglione. "We received requests for approximately 25,000 tickets from that mailing. We have successfully granted tickets to all athletic donors, although some of those orders were unable to be granted in full. Requests from season ticket holders will be granted on a longevity basis - priority will be given to those fans who have held season tickets for the greatest length of time."

Castiglione added that the athletic ticket office has reserved 1,500 Orange Bowl tickets for OU students.
