*A sellout crowd of 75,364 marked the 12th-straight sellout at Owen Field.

*Senior fullback Seth Littrell wore number 42, as a tribute to his father, former Sooner fullback Jim Littrell, who played from 1973-75, and was a part of two national championships.

*J.T. Thatcher's seventh interception of the year which he returned 85 yards for a touchdown was the eight-longest defensive score in Sooner history and the longest since Ricky Dickson's 95-yard interception return against Oklahoma State in 1987.

*Thatcher's return made him the fifth different Sooner to return an interception for a touchdown this season, he joins Roy Williams, Rocky Calmus, Derrick Strait and Torrance Marshall.

*Antwone Savage's 32-yard run on the opening play of the game brought his season total to 140 yards which is the second most in a season for a non-backfield member, the record is held by Keith Jackson, who had 153 yards in 1985.

*J.T. Thatcher's 11-yard punt return in the first quarter broke Jack Mitchell's 52-year old school record for return yards in a year.

*Antwone Savages 25 yards against Texas Tech made him the 10th Sooner in history to post over a 1,000 recieving yards in his career. Savage's career total now stands at 1,018.

*Josh Heupel's six-yard touchdown in the second quarter marked the 22nd-straight game in his career that he has thrown a touchdown pass.

*Josh Heupel's 253 total offensive yards broke Cale Gundy's career mark of 6,389 yards, which had stood since 1993. Heupel's career total now stands at 6,498.

*Today's start marked the 22nd-straight of Josh Heupel's career, he is fifth all-time on the OU career list for quarterbacks. Heupel trails only Jack Mildren (34), Steve Davis (34), Boby Womack (25) and J.C. Watts (24).

*With the win tonight, the Sooners' record improves to 42-0 versus unranked opponents while ranked No. 1.

*The win also increases Oklahoma's home record to 28-0 while ranked No. 1.

*With OU's victory over Texas Tech, the Sooners' home win streak improves to 13 straight, longest in the Big 12.

*Kicker Tim Duncan's missed point after touchdown following OU's fourth quarter touchdown was his first miss after connecting on 55-straight this season. The streak is the third longest by a Sooner in a single-season. Tim Lashar, in 1986, had 60-straight PAT's in that season and Uwe Von Schamanm had a stretch of 59-consecutive PAT's in 1978.

*J.T. Thatcher had a spectacular against Texas Tech in the return game, returning 4 punts for 69 yards, three kickoffsfor 52 yards, and 1 interception return of 85 yards for a total of 206 yards in the return game.
