POSTGAME QUOTES
SOONER INVITATIONAL

Oklahoma 75, Alcorn State 56
Friday, Nov. 17, 2000
Lloyd Noble Center - Norman, Okla.

Oklahoma Junior Forward Aaron McGhee:
"This first game felt good. Despite my stats, I thought I could have played better. My defense just wasn't there. I feel for us to be successful as a team, we need to be more consistent on defense."

Oklahoma Sophomore Guard Hollis Price:
"You've got to give a lot of credit to freshmen Johnnie Gilbert and Blake Johnston. They came in and gave the team a spark. For Blake, he showed that working hard in practice can pay off. As a team, I thought we looked good in spots. The defense really picked it up late in the game. The difference between this game and the last exhibition was that we played mostly man-to-man that time, whereas tonight we were able to switch up defenses and it worked to our advantage. We're still trying to find an identity."
