Oklahoma Women's Golf Team In Sixth Place In New Mexico

LAS CRUCES, N.M. - The 23rd-ranked University of Oklahoma women's golf team is in sixth place after two rounds at the Roadrunner Invitational at the 6,117 par-72 NMSU Golf Course in Las Cruces, N.M. Nineteenth-ranked TCU leads the tournament after shooting a two-round score of 581 (+5). The Sooners shot rounds of 306 and 301 for an overall score of 607 (+31).

Leading the way for Oklahoma is sophomore Allison Johnson who stands tied for 15th after carding a two-round score of 150 (+6).

Junior Jennifer Tannehill and freshman Lisa Meldrum sit two shots behind Johnson after firing identical scores of 152 (+8). Junior Betsy Berry is tied for 31st with score of 153 (+9), while redshirt-freshman Hope Edge concluded second round play tied for 60th with a score of 160 (+16).

The Sooners will begin the final round of competition at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
