Arvest State Bank Helps OU Sell Scrimmage Tickets

Norman, Okla. - With more that 4,000 tickets sold in the first two days, the University of Oklahoma is proud to announce that Arvest State Bank has agreed to join in the efforts to sell tickets to the Aug. 28 football scrimmage in Tulsa. The scrimmage, which will begin at 3:30 p.m., is being held at LaFortune Stadium on the campus of Memorial High School to help raise money for victims of the May 3 tornadoes.

"We have been looking for a ticket outlet in the Tulsa area and I'm glad that we have finally worked out the details," said OU Director of Athletics Joe Castiglione. "We wanted to make the ticket-buying process for this event easy for our fans in the Tulsa area and with 15 locations across Tulsa, Broken Arrow and Sapulpa, Arvest State Bank has helped us do just that. We thank them for the help with this special event."

The price for all seats is $5 and only 10,000 tickets will be sold. Besides the Arvest State Bank locations listed below, mail orders can still be made (through August 19) by calling the OU Ticket Office at (800) 456-4668 or (405) 325-2424. In conjunction with the scrimmage, the OU Club of Tulsa will hold a barbecue lunch inside the Memorial High School cafeteria at 1:30 p.m. Sooner head coach Bob Stoops and Castiglione will speak to those in attendance before the scrimmage.
