Senior Jarrail Jackson's 54-yard punt return tied his career long set last season versus California. The return was also OU's longest punt return of the season. The previous season long was held by J.T. Thatcher, who returned a 52-yarder against Indiana State.

Tim Duncan kicked a field goal on OU's opening possession, marking the fourth straight game the Sooners have scored on their opening drive.

Today's game marked the first time this season that OU trailed at the end of the first quarter and at the end of the first half.

Senior Rodney Rideau's second quarter interception was his third of the season, which leads the team. Rideau had only two career interceptions entering this season.

Senior Reggie Skinner's fourth quarter touchdown reception was the first touchdown catch of his career.

Jackson's 49-yard touchdown reception in the fourth quarter was his sixth of the year, tying Eddie Hinton's single-season record. Hinton caught six touchdown passes in 1968.

Jackson's seven catches and 148 receiving yards were both career highs. His 148 yards receiving marked the sixth-best single-season total in OU history while his seven catches marked the seventh-best single-game performance in school annals.

Oklahoma rushed for a net of -11 yards, an all-time low. The previous low was three yards against Tulsa in 1937.

Josh Heupel's 58 passing attempts were a career high and marked a school record.

Heupel set new single-season records in passing attempts (332), yards passing (2,369) and total offense (2,297). He also extended his own single-season records in completions (207) and touchdown passes (23).

Heupel threw for his sixth 300-yard game (OU and Big 12 career records). His 23 touchdown passes also tied Michael Bishop's Big 12 single-season record.

Rocky Calmus' unofficial mark of 22 tackles tied a school record. Brian Bosworth also tallied 22 tackles vs. Miami (Fla.) in 1986.

Jeff Ferguson's 73-yard punt was a career long. His former long was a 72-yarder last season versus North Texas.

Ferguson's 50.2 yards per punt marked the sixth-best single-game average in school history.
