LUBBOCK, Texas - The University of Oklahoma women's golf team shot an opening-day 618 to take a two-stroke lead at the Jeannine McHaney Memorial. OU posted scores of 309 in each of the first two rounds.
Individually, the Sooners are paced by sophmore Jennifer James, who fired a 153 and is six strokes of the lead in sixth place. Teammate Jaime Dello-Russo is tied for ninth place after shooting an opening-day 154. Isabelle Blais and Kellie Jamison, who both finished the day with scores of 157, are tied for 20th while Betsy Berry's 159 has her tied for 30th. Allison Johnson shot a 158 competing as an individual.
