Texas A&M Football Contest Moved To 6 p.m.

DALLAS - ABC Sports, FOX Sports Net and the Big 12 Conference have announced the telecast schedule for Saturday, Oct. 23, via 12-day notification.

The Big 12 Game of the Week, syndicated regionally in over-the-air format by FOX, features Kansas State at Oklahoma State at 11:30 a.m. (CDT). ABC will air the Nebraska at Texas game regionally at 2:30 p.m. (CDT) from Austin, Texas. The 6 p.m. (CDT) FOX Sports Net nationally-televised game is Texas A&M at Oklahoma.

Kickoff time, which was earlier listed at TBD for Missouri at Kansas, will be at 1 p.m. (CDT) for a non-televised game in Lawrence. Other Big 12 games on Oct. 23 include Colorado at Iowa State at 1 p.m. (CDT) and Texas Tech at Baylor with a 6 p.m. (CDT) starting time.

This week (Oct. 16) Kansas goes to Texas A&M at 11:30 a.m. (CDT) for the FOX Big 12 Game of the Week over-the-air syndicated contest. ABC Sports carries its 2:30 p.m. (CDT) regional game between Colorado and Texas Tech at Lubbock, Texas. Iowa State visits Missouri in the 6 p.m. (CDT) national telecast via FOX Sports Net.

Big 12 Conference football telecasts, starting with games of September 25, are subject to the 12-day/six day window network selection process. This means that the conference office will be notified of telecast selections on Monday morning 12 days in advance of the games. Twice during the 1999 season ABC may request six-day selections while notifying the conference on the Monday before the game.
