Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium
One of America's most recognized college football cathedrals, Gaylord Family – Oklahoma Memorial Stadium, situated on the east side of the Norman campus, is the largest sports venue in the state of Oklahoma and ranks among the 20 largest on-college football stadiums in the nation. Each home football Saturday, Sooner Nation packs the 80,126-seat "Palace on the Prairie," resulting in one of the country’s top home-field advantages. OU has sold out every regular season home game since the start of the 1999 season, and during that time owns college football’s best home winning percentage.
The 2024 football season marks the 100th in the stadium’s history. The first game on the current site was in 1923, but the first game in front of a large grandstand was a 7-0 OU win over Drake on Oct. 17, 1925.
Switzer Center
Located on the south side of the stadium, the Switzer Center is the day-to-day operations center for Oklahoma football. The 132,000-square-foot complex features a state-of-the-art locker room, training room, nutrition area, coaches' offices and team meeting rooms.
Just east of the Switzer Center is the Carl B. Anderson All-American Plaza, which features an interactive display honoring every OU All-American and the name of every letterwinner to ever wear the Crimson and Cream in any sport.
