Johnny Smiley joined Oklahoma Athletics in the fall of 2021 and serves as the Director of Creative Content.
In this role, he creates content for teams’ social channels, specifically men’s and women’s basketball. He also photographs events and designs graphics for social and print.
Prior to OU, he served as a graphic designer for Stanford Athletics. In that role, he served as the primary graphic designer for football & recruiting, helped create content for 10 national championship winning programs and supported all 36 sports in some way through design and marketing.
Smiley earned his associates degree in science and his bachelors degree in communications.
