Compiled a 5-5 record, going 0-1 in dual action … Competed and finished on the podium at the Southern Scuffle (Jan. 1), picking up three wins including a major decision over Gardner-Webb’s TK Davis to earn eighth place in the 133-pound bracket … Also secured two wins at the Michigan State Open (Nov. 11) … Made season dual debut against eventual national runner-up Daton Fix in the Sooners’ dual at Oklahoma State (Feb. 18).

Completed redshirt sophomore season with a 4-5 record, going 0-1 in dual action … Earned second place in Pool A of the 133C division at the Journeymen Classic after an 11-3 major decision in his first matchup against Hofstra's Alex Turley.
