  • Title:
Director of Recruiting and Branding Strategy
Paige Uhr was named Director of Women’s Basketball Recruiting and Branding Strategy by Jennie Baranczyk on June 23, 2023, and enters her second year on the Oklahoma staff in 2024-25.

In her role, Uhr (pronounced Orr) is the liaison between Oklahoma women’s basketball student-athletes and the name, image and likeness (NIL) space. She creates and implements all aspects of the recruiting and branding efforts for Sooner Basketball and maintains relationships with key stakeholders.

Her position is unique in the national women’s basketball landscape, placing Oklahoma in the upper echelon of women's basketball when recruiting the nation's top talent and developing their brand once they arrive in Norman.

In her first year on staff, the Sooners welcomed five-star McDonald’s All-American Sahara Williams and went on to win the program’s 13th conference championship. The following summer, the Sooners boasted one of the nation’s top 2024 signing classes, inking a pair of top-70 recruits in Zya Vann and Caya Smith, as well as the nation’s top transfer in All-American Raegan Beers.

Uhr's arrival at Oklahoma was preceded by a successful tenure of over two years at the University of Oklahoma Foundation. As the Director of Development, she was instrumental in fundraising for Oklahoma’s Gaylord College of Journalism and Mass Communication, managing a portfolio of over 130 donors and helping the Foundation raise more than $8.5 million in under three years.

A product of Marshall, Texas, Uhr is a 2015 graduate of the University of Oklahoma and holds a Bachelor of Arts in journalism with a minor in non-profit organizational studies. She studied abroad in Arezzo, Italy, while in college.
