Caitlyn Young enters her first season as a graduate assistant on Oklahoma head women's basketball coach Jennie Baranczyk's staff in 2026-27.

Young, a graduate of TCU with a bachelor's degree in strategic communication, focuses on executive operations and creative strategy. She works closely with the Sooners' coaching staff and Chief of Staff, assisting with day-to-day program operations, recruiting organization, creative projects, basketball support and administrative coordination.

Prior to arriving in Norman, Young worked in marketing and social media management with various organizations while also serving as the head freshman girls basketball coach at Norman North High School.

A Norman, Okla., native, Young is the sister of former Sooner All-American and NBA All-Star Trae Young. She is pursuing a master's degree in human resource studies at the University of Oklahoma.
