2016 [Junior]: Did not appear in any games following Tommy John surgery. Summer 2016: Pitched in five games out of the bullpen for the Brazos Valley Bombers of the Texas Collegiate Baseball League… struck out eight in 3.2 innings.

Before OU: Redshirted as a freshman at Texas Tech before transferring to Eastern Oklahoma State College where he played two seasons under coach Craig Price.

High School: Three-year letter winner under coaches Scott Ellis and Charlie O'Brien at Bishop Kelley High School… All-State selection as a senior… All-American honorable mention selection as a senior… helped team to Oklahoma 5A State Title in 2011… also played summer league baseball for the Sanford (Fla.) River Cats under coach Ken Kelly.
