2017 [Sophomore]: Started 13 games for the Sooners… finished with a 6-3 record and a 3.53 ERA… struck out 75 in 71.1 innings… earned an All-Big 12 Honorable Mention… voted CoSIDA Academic All-District... tossed seven innings of shutout, one-hit ball and struck out 10 to earn an opening day win over Long Beach State (2/17)… named Big 12 Pitcher of the Week (2/21)… earned his second consecutive win and struck out seven vs. Villanova (2/24)… pitched six-dominant innings of shutout ball and became the first Sooner to strike out 13 or more batters in a game since 2011 in a win over Central Connecticut State (3/3)… picked up his fifth straight win to begin the season at Kennesaw State (3/17)… struck out six in six innings to earn his sixth win of the season at Kansas State (5/5)… tossed seven innings in the NCAA Regional against Louisville (6/3); holding the host Cardinals scoreless through six. 2016 [Freshman]: Named a Louisville Slugger Freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball News… Started nine games and made six relief appearances… led the Sooner pitching staff in wins with a 6-2 record, tied for the fifth most wins by an OU freshman, and posted a 4.47 ERA in 56.1 innings… struck out 51 batters, which ranks fifth all-time by an OU freshman… struck out three and allowed on run in 3.1 innings of relief against No. 20 Mississippi State (3/6) at Dodger Stadium… struck out the side in his only inning of relief at Texas Tech (3/26)…notched his first career win in a mid-week start vs. Dallas Baptist (4/5)… racked up 10 strikeouts in 5.1 innings against No. 25 Oklahoma State (4/20)…threw seven innings of one run ball to beat Kansas State (5/7)… earned the win in the Bedlam Series opener against No. 12 Oklahoma State (5/13) in a rain-shortened, five-inning start.
