High School: Earned four varsity letters at Marshall High School… hit .389 as a sophomore, .458 as a junior and .537 as a senior… 2017 Rawlings Perfect Game All-America Honorable Mention and All-Region Central Second Team… named to Perfect Game 2016 Underclass Third Team… Minnesota All-State First Team selection as a senior… three-time All-Section and All-Conference honoree… named Marshall Independent All-Area Baseball Player of the Year in 2017… one of seven Minnesota Mr. Baseball finalists as a senior… participated in the Minnesota High School Baseball All-Star series following his senior season… helped team to 2015 2AA and 2017 2AAA third place finishes as well as 2017 conference championship… played four years of varsity hockey at Marshall and earned three All-Conference honors… set program record with 106 goals scored and 169 points, which ranks 28th in Minnesota high school history… member of the National Honor Society.
