Before OU: Spent one year at the University of San Diego… appeared in 19 games, making three starts on the mound and posted a 2-1 record… collected 18 strikeouts in 28.2 innings… credited with a save vs. San Diego State 92/26)… pitched 4.0 innings in relief vs. Pepperdine (3/17), allowing one run on three hits with two walks and two strikeouts.

High School: Attended Cathedral Catholic High School in San Diego…helped lead CCHS to an undefeated 24-0 season in 2015 and the 2016 CIF Open Division Championship… helped his team to back-to-back Western League Championships (2017, 2018) and an Eastern League Championship in 2016… also played football and basketball… three-time captain at CCHS in baseball and football.
