Our athletic department mission calls us to foster "champions today, and leaders tomorrow" and is deeply rooted in Sooner M.A.G.I.C. These values (Masterful, Accountable, Gracious, Inclusive and Competitive) guide our day to day interactions with each other.
The purpose of the Spirit Program is to support the athletic teams at the University of Oklahoma by generating crowd enthusiasm and actively engaging with our fans. Our members believe deeply in their role as ambassadors of the University and represent OU at a variety of alumni, civic, and charitable events and are committed to displaying a positive and collegiate image at all times that reflects the values and traditions of the University of Oklahoma.

Junior Spirit Squad
Youth ages kindergarten through 6th grade are invited to participate in OU's Junior Spirit Squad program. Classes are one hour per week and the curriculum consists of spirit fundamentals including cheers, chants, and dances. Participants will have the chance to interact with all aspects of our spirit program including the RUF/NEKS and Lil Sis, the Historic Sooner Schooner, our two ponies and Boomer and Sooner our mascots.

Spirit Camps
The National Cheerleaders Association and the University of Oklahoma began a partnership in 1953 by offering cheerleader and drill-team camps on the OU campus. Information on our UCA and NCA summer 2018 camps can be found here!
