Sooner sophomore Leslie Dunlap finished second at the ISU Invitational in what may have been preview of the Big 12 Championship.

AMES, Iowa - In what may have been a preview of the Big 12 Indoor Championship, OU sophomore Leslie Dunlap finished second to Texas A&M's Erica Boren in the pole vault competition during the Friday session of the two-day Iowa State Invitational. It marked the second time this season for the pair to meet. Dunlap won the first meeting on Jan. 19. Athletes from more than 50 colleges and club teams are competing in the meet which will resume Saturday morning with events scheduled throughout the day and evening.

Dunlap cleared 12-5.5, the fifth time this season for her to beat the NCAA provisional mark. Borne finished with a 12-11.5.Sooner freshman Lindsey Bourne finished eighth in the vault with a 11-11.75 and a pair of Sooners, Mary Waytula and Jamie Lillie, tied for 18th with an 10-6.

Season bests were posted by 10 Sooners in the 12 finals held on Friday. The bests included Alicia Emanuel with a 25.95 in the 200; Krystle Williams, 26.59 in the 200; the women's distance medley relay team with a seventh-place finish in 11:55.47; Waytula in the pole vault; Sand
