The University of Oklahoma is in the process of developing an aggressive and visionary master plan to address the facility concerns of the Athletic Department. The $16.8 million addition and renovation to the Lloyd Noble Center is the beginning of many improvements to OU's athletic facilities. In addition to the Lloyd Noble Center the University has begun construction on its new Soccer Complex. The Athletic Department also has plans for a new tennis facility, and has started planning for the renovation and expansion of other parts of the sports facilities.
