Sooner Track Duo Open Competition at Texas Relays :: Buchanan and Davis are first to run in Austin.

AUSTIN, Texas - Tiffany Davis and Jimmy Buchanan were the first Sooners to take to the track in the 75th annual Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays. Both ran in events late Thursday.
Davis finished third in her heat in the 400-meter intermediate hurdles with a time of 1:02.22, a season best for her by more than three seconds. She finished 21st overall out of 54 runners but did not qualify for the final on Saturday.
Buchanan ran a 15:03.63 in the 5000-meter run final and finished 12th out of 20 runners. It was the first time this season for the sophomore to compete in that event.
Action will continue in Austin through Saturday. Those members of the track and field squads who did not go to Austin for the Relays will travel to Edmond Saturday for the Oklahoma Christian Relays.
