NORMAN, Okla. - The Home Run Club, Oklahoma baseball's booster organization, will hold its annual golf tournament on Friday, May 3, at the OU Jimmie Austin Golf Course. Former Sooner major leaguers, as well as this year's edition of the Oklahoma baseball team, will be on hand, and the format is a four- or five-person scramble.
An 8 a.m. shotgun start will kick off the event and there will be prizes for the first-, second- and third-place teams, as well as for the longest drive, the closest to the hole, the nearest to the line and all holes in one. The cost to participate is $125 per person, which includes greens fees, cart, practice balls, lunch, a t-shirt and door prizes.
