The Kansas City Royals were my favorite team growing up because I lived in Kansas City.

My dream has been to play here at the University of Oklahoma since I was a little kid.

3. Who is/was your favorite player? Did you pattern your game after his?
My favorite player was ex-Royal George Brett. I pattern my game after his, because he always hustles and he has a tremendous amount of heart.

To get to Omaha for the College World Series, and to take full advantage of every opportunity I get.

6. What is your favorite baseball movie?
Bull Durham is definitely my favorite baseball movie of all time.

7. Where do you see yourself in ten years?
Ten years from now I would like to be married to my high school sweetheart, with three young stud boys, working doing something I like to do.

9. What is your fondest memory from playing baseball?
My fondest baseball memory would be when I hit the game-winning home run against Plano High School.

10. Why do you wear the jersey number you do?
The reason I wear the No. 5 is because that is the number of my favorite player, George Brett.

11. What's the best piece of advice that you have ever received? Who was it from?
It is not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog. My father gave me that piece of advice.
