2017 [Sophomore]: Named All-Big 12 Honorable Mention... made 22 relief appearances and posted a 3-0 record to go along with a 1.93 ERA…. collected a rare four strikeouts in one inning against Central Connecticut State (3/3)… pitched a perfect 2.1 innings while racking up five strikeouts in a win at Kennesaw State (3/18)… tossed a season high 3.1 innings, struck out five and earned his first career win in a win at Texas (4/9)… threw 1.2 scoreless innings in relief in an extra-inning win at West Virginia (4/30)… threw two scoreless relief innings against Oklahoma State (5/20).

2016 [Freshman]: Made 11 relief appearances with an 0-2 record across 15 innings of work… racked up three strikeouts in three innings against Northeastern (2/20)… pitched two-scoreless innings, struck out three, and earned his first career save in a win over Central Arkansas (3/1)… threw a scoreless-inning of relief in a three-run win at CSU Bakersfield (3/18). Summer 2016: Struck out two in his only inning for the Plymouth Pilgrims of the New England Collegiate Baseball League.

High School: Three-year letter winner under head coach Marcus Jones at Kempner High School… two-year varsity letter winner in football… also played premier baseball for the South Texas Sliders… First Team All-District and honorable mention All-Houston selection as a senior… Academic All-District selection… finished senior season with 5-1 record, 1.80 ERA and 83 strikeouts in 54 innings… Co-District champs in 2015… earned Academic All-District honors as a senior.
