NORMAN — OU clubbed eight home runs and the pitchers spun 11 shutout innings as the No. 4 Sooners (22-2) blanked Abilene Christian, 8-0, and Louisiana, 10-0, Saturday, March 7 on day one of the Okana Invite.
Oklahoma tallied its 10th consecutive run-rule, while winning its 11th contest in a row. The Sooners outhit their opponents, 20-5, while keeping opposing batters from tallying even one extra-base hit on the night.
The Sooners are up to 99 home runs on the season and with one more home run would become the fastest program to 100 home runs in the history of NCAA Division I softball.

Allyssa Parker retired the first seven batters of the game and faced the minimum through 4.2 innings en route to six innings of shutout ball in the circle.
At the plate,
Ailana Agbayani and
Kendall Wells hit a pair of two-run home runs and
Lexi McDaniel added a solo shot.
Gabbie Garcia also added an RBI double and
Allyssa Parker tripled in Garcia en route to the six-inning win.

Audrey Lowry earned her 11th win with four innings of one-hit ball and the top three batters in the Sooner lineup combined for eight RBIs and three home runs as the Sooners run-ruled Louisiana, 10-0.
All 10 of OU's runs came via the home run ball.
Ella Parker homered in two in the first and classmates
Kasidi Pickering and
Ella Parker went back-to-back in the second to make it 6-0.
Wells hit her second home run of the day, this one a 304 foot shot out of the stadium in left center. Once again it was the classmates in tandem as
Lexi McDaniel hit a two-run homer to the loge boxes in center for a 10-0 lead.
Berkeley Zache fanned one in the fifth to close out the game in five and secure the shutout.
