NORMAN — The University of Oklahoma head rowing coach,
Sarah Trowbridge, announced the team's spring schedule Friday, a slate that includes four regular-season regattas.
"I'm pleased to join a strong group of universities at this spring's competitions, and I'm pumped to take this team on the road," said head coach
Sarah Trowbridge. "From the Cardinal Invite to the Spring Regatta, and Orlando Invite to Lake Wheeler, this season is about showing up focused and hungry—honoring every workout and every mile that has brought us to this point."
The Sooners will open their spring season on familiar water at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite on Melton Hill Lake in Oak Ridge, Tenn., March 15-16. The lake is home to the inaugural SEC Rowing Championship in 2025, with the race set to be hosted there again this season.
OU will head to Columbus, Ohio, for the Ohio State Spring Regatta on Saturday, March 28. In their trip to Columbus last spring, the Sooners secured a pair of victories with the 2V8+ and 1V4+, besting Ohio State and Michigan.
Oklahoma travels to Orlando, Fla., for the Orlando Invitational on April 17-18.
OU closes out its regular season slate the following weekend, April 24-25, in Raleigh, N.C., at the Lake Wheeler Invitational on Lake Wheeler.
The Sooners begin their postseason campaign at the 2026 SEC Rowing Championships back in Oak Ridge, Tenn., at Melton Lake on Sunday, May 10.
