NORMAN – A 197.425 in the SEC opener at Missouri last week has the Oklahoma women's gymnastics team holding steady at No. 2 in the nation with an average of 197.463 through two weeks of competition.
Florida remained No. 1 with a 197.575 average, while Alabama (197.375), LSU (197.175) and Georgia (197.100) round out the top five.
On the events, OU is No. 1 on vault (49.463), No. 2 on beam (49.488), No. 7 on bars (49.288) and No. 11 on floor (49.225).
Individually, six athletes hold nine individual rankings, including four top 10 marks.
A pair of Sooners rank in the top five on vault with
Faith Torrez and
Mackenzie Estep tied at No. 4 with a 9.912 average.
Addison Fatta is No. 15 (9.887) and
Keira Wells is No. 20 (9.875).
Torrez holds the No. 2 spot on beam with a 9.950 average, while
Ella Murphy also sits in the top 10 at No. 8 (9.925).
Murphy is the lone Sooners in the top 25 on bars with a 9.888 average, good for No. 16 in the nation, while Estep is the only ranked Sooner on floor at No. 12 (9.90).
Lily Pederson is No. 23 in the all-around with a 39.250.
The Sooners return to the friendly confines of Lloyd Noble Center for the first time since 2025 on Friday, Jan. 23. OU will welcome No. 5 Georgia to Norman for an exciting night celebrating the 2025 national championship team. Prior to the meet, OU will raise its championship banner. The meet is slated for a 5:45 p.m. start on SEC Network.
