Sasha Bogonosiuk tops the all-around standings with his 79.650, freshman
Nathan Roman leads the parallel bar rankings with his 14.500 and senior
Ignacio Yockers ranks first on pommel horse with his 14.250.
The Sooners posted the nation's highest score so far this season with their 323.950 team all-around total in Saturday's season-opening win over Stanford, Nebraska and Air Force at the Rocky Mountain Open, which was hosted by the Air Force Academy. OU has been ranked No. 1 at some point in every season since 2001.
OU holds first place in three events after their first week of competition: pommel horse (55.200), parallel bars (54.900) and high bar (53.150). The Sooners rank second on floor exercise (53.650) and still rings (52.850) and ninth on vault (54.200).
Roman ranks third on floor exercise (13.950) and Bogonosiuk is tied for fourth (13.900). Sophomore
Colby Aranda is sixth on pommel horse (13.950) and redshirt junior
Mac Seyler ranks seventh (13.900).
Sophomore
Francisco Velez Belendez ranks third on still rings (13.750) and junior Tas Hadju sits ninth (13.250). Bogonosiuk ranks fifth on vault (14.100) and redshirt sophomore
Brandon Zepeda-Orth ranks eighth (13.400) on high bar. Hajdu ranks 11th on parallel bars after notching a career-high 13.550 on Saturday.
The national rankings are determined by the average scores of teams and individuals from each meet.
Oklahoma travels to Ann Arbor, Mich., this weekend to face reigning national champion Michigan at 1 p.m. CT on Saturday, Jan. 24. The Sooners then host Greenville at McCasland Field House on Sunday, Feb. 1 at 2 p.m. CT in their home-opening meet.
