NORMAN – Oklahoma women's tennis head coach Audra Cohen and the Sooners welcomed Evialina Laskevich to the program for the fall 2025 season today.
Laskevich, a native of Minsk, Belarus, has reached as high as No. 30 in the ITF junior rankings and holds WTA career-high rankings of No. 319 in singles and No. 317 in doubles.
"We are extremely excited to add a player of Evialina's caliber to our program," Cohen said. "She's had success at both the junior and professional levels, and her time at Oklahoma will be a continuation of that career. She'll make an immediate impact on our program. Boomer Sooner!"
Laskevich has recorded 157 combined professional wins and enjoyed a breakout year in 2024, capturing four professional titles: W50 Lopota (singles), W35 Sharm ElSheikh (doubles), and W15 Monastir (singles and doubles).
In junior competition, she has claimed two singles titles and nine doubles titles and competed in two Junior Grand Slam tournaments: Wimbledon and Roland Garros.
The Sooners will return to the court this fall. A schedule will be announced at a later date.
