NORMAN – Fourteen members of the 2025 Oklahoma women's gymnastics team were named Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association Scholastic All-America Award winners, the WCGA announced Monday. The Sooners posted a 3.6959 team GPA for the 2024-25 academic year.
To earn WCGA Scholastic All-America honors, a gymnast must attain a cumulative or yearly GPA of 3.5 or better.
OU has now captured at least five spots on the Scholastic All-America list for 19 consecutive seasons, all under head coach K.J. Kindler. Since her arrival at OU prior to the 2007 season, her gymnasts have collected a total of 192 awards from the WCGA.
Three Sooners posted perfect 4.0 GPAs during the 2024-25 academic year, including freshman Lizzy Blessey (psychology) and sophomores
Caitlin Smith (journalism) and
Keira Wells (creative media production). Seven other gymnasts posted above a 3.80 for the year: senior
Audrey Davis (3.80 – business administration), freshman
Addison Fatta (3.89 – communications), senior
Danae Fletcher (3.88 – criminal justice), sophomore
Aspen Lenczner (3.91 – journalism), sophomore
Hannah Scheible (3.88 – health & exercise science), senior
Danielle Sievers (3.88 – health & exercise science) and freshman
Kelsey Slade (3.86 – psychology).
OU's other honorees are junior
Ava Siegfeldt (health & exercise science) and freshmen
Elle Mueller (health & exercise science),
Lily Pederson (business) and
Hurley Snow (health & exercise science).
Sievers finished her career as a four-time honoree, while Fletcher and Smith earned their third honor. Scheible & Wells were each honored for the second time in their careers.
