NORMAN – The Oklahoma men's gymnastics team is ranked No. 1 for the second straight week and the third time this season after its 322.900 to 316.300 road win at No. 5 Ohio State on Sunday.
The Sooners are atop the national standings with a 324.750 average score across their four meets this season. Illinois (322.167), Stanford (320.850), Nebraska (320.625) and Ohio State (318.700) round out the top five.
Oklahoma is ranked in the top six on all six events and leads the nation on floor exercise (54.275 average), still rings (54.725) and horizontal bar (54.063). OU ranks second on vault (56.063), third on pommel horse (53.538) and sixth on parallel bars (52.338).

Kelton Christiansen are tied for the national lead in high bar average (13.950), and senior
Matthew Burgoyne ranks third on still rings (13.938).

Brigham Frentheway ranks sixth on floor exercise (13.688) and redshirt freshman
Arthur Ballon is tied for ninth on floor (13.625). Junior
Ignacio Yockers ranks fourth on pommel horse (14.325) while fifth-year senior
Zach Nunez ranks 10th (13.825).
Also ranked among the top 10 on rings with Burgoyne, sophomore
Tas Hajdu is tied for fifth (13.725) and freshman
Francisco Velez Belendez is ranked 12th (13.538). Dodanli is tied for eighth on vault (14.133), Ballon is ranked 10th (14.112) and Frentheway ranks 12th (14.087). Dodanli ranks 10th on parallel bars (13.550). Redshirt freshman
Brandon Zepeda-Orth ranks eighth on high bar (13.537).
In all, the Sooners hold 12 spots in the top 10 on the six apparatus, and 16 spots in the top 12. Dodanli is ranked among the top 12 in all four of his events and Frentheway is ranked among the top 18 on his four events.

Saturday is OU's annual Cleveland Night, featuring students and families from Norman's Cleveland Elementary School. Feb. 7-8 is also OU Gymnastics Alumni Weekend. The Sooners will welcome back gymnastics alumni and will honor the 2015 National Championship squad before the meet. Fans can also take advantage of $2 beer, soda and popcorn, pick up a free crimson pom and take photos with national championship trophies. The team will sign autographs following the meet.
