LAST TIME OUT
NORMAN
Kasidi Pickering came up clutch with a walk-off three-run home run in an 8-5 game one win against Bowling Green (2-7) and Cydney Sanders tallied three of her seven RBIs in game two to help No. 2 OU Softball (14-0) defeat Abilene Christian (3-11), 9-1, Monday, Feb. 24.

HEAD-TO-HEAD HISTORY
The Sooners have never played the Sun Belt's Marshall, a team led by second-year head coach Morgan Zerkle. The Thundering Herd are 5-7 and coming off an 8-0 loss at Clemson last weekend.

Oklahoma and Kansas are picking up a long-standing Big 12 rivalry this weekend. The two teams last met in the 2024 Big 12 Championship, the 126th all-time meeting between the programs. OU is 82-44 against Kansas and 41-10 in Norman. This will be the Jayhawks' first trip to Love's Field after all four meetings last year were split between Lawrence, Kan., and Oklahoma City.

OU and UMKC are playing for the eighth time. OU leads the series, 7-0. The last meeting was March 12, 2021.

14-0
Oklahoma is 14-0 through the first three weekends of the 2025 season. The Sooners have won seven games by run-rule fashion, while taking three in extra innings. The Sooners have homered 24 times, good for the eighth most in the NCAA. The OU staff has posted a 1.38 ERA (5th-lowest in the NCAA) and a nation's best 0.68 WHIP.

NOTHING FREE
The Sooners pitching staff leads the country in strikeout-to-walk ratio at 9.42. OU hasn't permitted more than two walks in a game this entire season, while not allowing a single free pass in five of 14 games. Conversely, Oklahoma has fanned at least ten batters on five instances, including 16 in the nine-inning win at San Diego State. Sam Landry has reached double-digit strikeouts twice on her own, punching out 11 against SDSU and 10 against Wichita State.

FEELING GRAND
Oklahoma has already launched four grand slams this season, with four different Sooners contributing to that total. Isabela Emerling, Gabbie Garcia, Sydney Barker and Cydney Sanders have all hit a grand slam. Gabbie's first collegiate home run was a grand slam, while Emerling's was the game winner at San Diego State.

SCORELESS THROUGH 18.2
Transfer pitcher Isabella Smith hasn't allowed an earned run yet, working 18.2 scoreless innings across six appearances and two starts. She's 4-0 with 22 strikeouts and only one walk permitted. Of the six hits she's allowed, only one has been an extra-base hit. Opponents are only hitting .102 against her.

500Ks
Righty Sam Landry reached 500-career strikeouts during the win against Bowling Green State. The righty joined OU with 461 punchouts and has already added 46 this season. She fanned 11 against San Diego State and 10 against Wichita State.

WE GOT ICE
Oklahoma is leading the country with 20 hit by pitches. Abigale Dayton has reached six times via the hit by pitch, while Ailana Agbayani has reached four times.

BIG BARRELS
OU has spread the wealth when it comes to its home runs. The Sooners have hit 24 home runs, with 10 different players hitting at least one. Sanders and Kasidi Pickering have four apiece, while Tia Milloy, Emerling, Barker and Ella Parker have three each. Dayton hit a home run in her first at-bat as a Sooner.

WHAT A START
Sophomore Ella Parker has put together one of the best starts to the 2025 season in the entire nation. Parker is leading the country in doubles (9) and ranks third in the nation in batting average (.610). She is also third in the country in on-base percentage (.696), having walked 13 times and totaled 25 hits.

LOVE'S FIELD, THE PLACE TO BE
The Sooners played in front of 12,347 fans over the three-day home-opening weekend tourney at Love's Field. Oklahoma's 4,261 attendance in the home opener against Tulsa marked the highest attendance for an OU home game in the month of February.

1.000
Oklahoma is one of five programs with a 1.000 winning percentage, and one of four without a loss and more than 10 wins. OU is joined by South Carolina (16-0), Georgia (14-0) and LSU (14-0) in that group of unbeatens with double-digit wins. All four of those teams hail from the SEC. OU and South Carolina will meet March 7-9 at Love's Field in the opening weekend of SEC play.

LANA AT LEADOFF
Ailana Agbayani made her debut at the leadoff slot Monday in the doubleheader against Bowling Green and Abilene Christian. Agbayani tallied a hit, two runs, three walks and four stolen bases.

SOLID WITH THE GLOVE
Oklahoma ranks ninth in the country in fielding percentage with a .984 mark. The Sooners have only made six errors across 14 games and haven't committed more than one error in any game this season.

GREEN MEANS GO
The Sooners hit the gas on the bases last weekend, stealing 12 bags over the four games. OU swiped bases five against Wichita State, four against Bowling Green and three against Abilene Christian.
