NORMAN, Okla. (AP) — Raegan Beers scored a career-high 30 points shooting 11 for 13 and grabbed a season-high 14 rebounds and 16th-ranked Oklahoma beat Vanderbilt 101-81 on Thursday night for the Sooners' fourth straight win.
Payton Verhulst and freshman Zya Vann scored 16 points each for the Sooners (20-6, 8-5 SEC), who shot 52.2% (36 for 69).
Vanderrbilt (19-8, 6-7) freshman Mikayla Blakes scored 34 points following a 55-point scoring effort against Auburn on Sunday in setting the Division I freshman record. Khamil Pierre added 11 points.
Oklahoma led for all but 19 seconds. Blakes' 3-pointer gave Vanderbilt an 11-10 lead with 6:55 left in the first quarter. Vann made a 3-pointer 19 seconds later to spark a 13-2 run and the Sooners closed the quarter up 21-13.
Vanderbilt stayed within close proximity and faced just a 43-37 deficit at halftime. But Oklahoma all but sealed it in the third quarter when it took a 55-51 advantage and grew it to a 77-54 lead. Vanderbilt went scoreless for 2:09 and 3:51 in the quarter.
Verhulst gave Oklahoma its largest lead at 85-56 with 8:46 remaining. Oklahoma reached triple digits for a program-record fifth time this season.
Oklahoma travels to Arkansas on Sunday for a 2 p.m. game against the Razorbacks on SEC Network Plus.
POSTGAME NOTES
• No. 16 Oklahoma defeated Vanderbilt, 101-81, on Thursday at Lloyd Noble Center in Norman, winning its fourth straight game to improve to 20-6 overall and 8-5 in SEC play.
• With the win, Oklahoma secured its fourth straight 20-win season under head coach
Jennie Baranczyk. The Sooners have now reached 20 victories 25 times in program history and Baranczyk joins Hall of Fame coach Sherri Coale as the only OU coaches to achieve four consecutive 20-win campaigns. The Sooners last accomplished the feat during Coale's eight-season streak from 2006-13.
• OU is now tied with No. 18 Alabama for fifth in the SEC with three games to play. Kentucky, who faces LSU, Tennessee and South Carolina down the stretch, leads the Sooners and Crimson Tide by two games on the
conference table. The top four seeds at the SEC Tournament automatically advance to the quarterfinals.
• The Sooners led by six (43-37) at halftime, but shot 61% (22 of 36) in the second half to win by 20. Oklahoma reached 100 points for a program record fifth time this season, eclipsing the four 100-point games reached by the 1984, 1986 and 1992 Sooner teams. Additionally, it was OU's second 100-point game in SEC play (100 at LSU) as OU has now reached 100 points 12 times since Baranczyk was named head coach in 2021.
• Oklahoma used a 19-0 run that bridged the third and fourth quarters to turn a nine-point lead into a 28-point advantage. OU outscored Vanderbilt 34-17 in the third quarter.

Raegan Beers had a career night against the Commodores, scoring a career high 30 points and grabbing a season-high 14 rebounds. The double-double was the 40
th of her career and 10
th at Oklahoma after playing two seasons at Oregon State. The All-American and Center of the Year candidate was 11 of 13 shooting and 8 of 11 from the free throw line. She added two blocks in the win.
• Three other Sooners scored in double figures.
Payton Verhulst made four 3-pointers en route to 16 points, securing her seventh straight double-digit scoring output.
Zya Vann finished with 16 points, one off her career high, scoring 10 in the second half to help fuel OU's dominant third quarter.
Skylar Vann posted 13 points, nine rebounds and four assists.
• Oklahoma shot 52% on the night (36-69) and made 12 3-pointers, shooting 40% from deep. It held Vanderbilt to 35.3% from the field as the Commodores made just 10 field goals from inside the 3-point line.
• OU dominated on the glass, outrebounding Vanderbilt 54-29 (+25) on the glass and improving to 29-1 under Baranczyk when reaching 50 rebounds. The Sooners outscored VU 44-12 in the paint and 18-7 in second chance points (17 offensive rebounds).
