NORMAN — Oklahoma Rowing takes the water for the first time this season Saturday morning at the annual Head of the Oklahoma in Oklahoma City.

The 2025 edition of the regatta marks its 21st year, and OU's 15th appearance in the event. Oklahoma is slated to compete 34 total boats in the two-and-a-half mile head races and five in the 500-meter OG&E NightSprints. In their last showing at the race, all four of the Sooners' eights finished in the top ten, including a first- and third-place finish.

The event is free to the public and is hosted by OCU at OKC Riversport, the only permanently lit racecourse in the world. Live results can be found at CrewTimer.
