Ten Sooners Earn 2024 CGA All-America Scholar-Athlete Honors

NORMAN – A total of 10 University of Oklahoma men's gymnasts received CGA All-America Scholar-Athlete accolades for the 2024 season, the College Gymnastics Association announced this week.
 
Nine Sooners were first-team selections: seniors Zachary Marckx and Noah Giordano, juniors Matthew Burgoyne and Emre Dodanli, sophomores Kelton Christiansen and Ignacio Yockers, redshirt freshman Leo Koike and freshmen Max Bereznev and Tas Hajdu. Junior Brigham Frentheway was a second team selection.
 
The CGA honored 156 individual gymnasts as 2024 First Team All-America Scholar-Athletes for attaining a 3.5 GPA or higher and 51 second-team gymnasts for attaining a GPA between 3.499 and 3.2.
