NORMAN – Seventeen members of the 2024 Oklahoma women's gymnastics team were named Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association Scholastic All-America Award winners, the WCGA announced Wednesday.
The Sooners posted a 3.6692 team GPA for the 2023-24 academic year. OU's 17 honorees led the Big 12 Conference and tied the program record set in 2021.
OU has now captured at least five spots on the Scholastic All-America list for 18 consecutive seasons, all under head coach K.J. Kindler. Since her arrival at OU prior to the 2007 season, her gymnasts have collected a total of 178 awards from the WCGA.
A program record nine student-athletes posted perfect 4.0 GPAs during the 2023-24 academic year, including seniors
Bell Johnson (advertising), Julianne Fehring (nursing),
Katherine LeVasseur (health & exercise science),
Meilin Sullivan (architecture), Quinn Smith (biomedical engineering) and
Sheridan Ramsey (broadcast journalism), junior
Caitin Kirkpatrick (biology) and freshmen
Caitlin Smith (journalism) and
Keira Wells (creative media production). A pair of Sooners recorded over a 3.8 as senior
Ragan Smith (multidisciplinary studies) recorded a 3.83 and freshman
Hannah Scheible (nutritional science) recorded a 3.88.
OU's other honorees are

Ava Siegfeldt, Dani Sievers,
Madison Snook and
Amy Wier.
Johnson, LeVasseur, Quinn Smith and Sullivan finished their careers as four-time WCGA Scholastic All-America honorees. Fehring, Kirkpatrick, Ramsey, Sievers and Snook picked up their third honors, while Fletcher and
Caitlin Smith earned their second awards.
To earn WCGA Scholastic All-America honors, a gymnast must attain a cumulative or yearly GPA of 3.5 or better.
