NORMAN — Seven University of Oklahoma student-athletes were selected to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District At-Large Division I Teams, CSC announced Tuesday: men's golfer

Ignacio Yockers, women's gymnast
Katherine LeVasseur and wrestlers
Josh Heindselman and
Jace Koelzer.
Christiansen, Dodanli, Goodman, Heindselman, LeVasseur and Yockers are eligible to be selected to the CSC Academic All-America teams, which will be voted on by CSC members and announced at a later date. To qualify for the Academic All-District/All-America teams, student-athletes must have a cumulative 3.50 GPA and meet competition requirements set for each sport.
Goodman, a junior from Norman and an economics and management information systems major, competed in all 13 events for the Sooners this season and ranked second among OU golfers with his 71.32 scoring average and was a PING All-Region honoree. He has played in 114 career rounds across 38 events and averaged 70.89 in his three seasons, earning two All-America honors.
Christiansen, a finance major and Arvada, Colo., product was the 2024 MPSF high bar champion and a regular season All-American on the event. The sophomore won four event titles this season, all on high bar, and was named to both the MPSF and Big 12 All-Academic teams.
Dodanli was named the CGA national Specialist of the Year and recently won the Turkish national all-around, floor exercise and high bar titles. A product of Turkey by way of Milton, Ontario, and a health and exercise major, Dodanli led OU with 13 event titles this season. The junior earned All-America status on floor exercise and parallel bars, was the MPSF floor exercise champion and was named to both the MPSF and Big 12 All-Academic teams.
Yockers, a sophomore from Tulsa, Okla., was named the MPSF Specialist of the Year was the conference pommel horse champion and was a CGA regular season All-American on pommel horse. A double major in computer science and mathematics, he has maintained a 4.0 cumulative GPA and was named to both the MPSF and Big 12 All-Academic teams.
LeVasseur, a senior from San Antonio, Texas, earned CSC Academic All-District honors for the second straight year. She placed third on uneven bars at the NCAA Championships and earned All-America status on the event, and earned regular season All-America accolades in the all-around and on vault from the WCGA. A health and exercise science major, she is a two-time Academic All-Big 12 first-team selection.
Heindselman, a redshirt senior from Piedmont, Okla., earned CSC Academic All-District honors for the second straight year. He posted a 24-8 record in the 285-pound heavyweight class and qualified for the NCAA Championships for the third consecutive season. Heindselman, who has a bachelor's degree in biology and is pursuing a master's in healthcare law, is a three-time NWCA Scholar All-American and a four-time Academic All-Big 12 honoree.
Koelzer, a redshirt senior from Olathe, Kan., was a starter at 133 pounds, competed in 11 duals and qualified for NCAA Championships last season after transferring from Northern Colorado. A four-time NWCA Scholar All-American and a three-time Academic All-Big 12 honoree, Koelzer has a bachelor's degree in psychology and is pursuing a master's degree in adult and higher education.
