FORT WORTH, Texas — Oklahoma rising redshirt junior
Fuzzy Benas and alumnus Yul Moldauer will compete at the 2024 Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships this weekend, May 30-June 2, at Dickies Arena.
The senior men's competitions will be held on Thursday and Saturday, beginning at 7 p.m. each day. A live broadcast of the senior men's day one competition on Thursday will be available via Peacock, and a tape delay broadcast will air on CNBC at 11 a.m. Saturday. Live coverage of the senior men's day two competition will be provided by CNBC and Peacock, while a tape delay will air on NBC at 2 p.m. Sunday.

Benas and Moldauer qualified for the U.S. Championships as members of the USA Gymnastics Men's Senior National Team. Benas was the College Gymnastics Association 2024 Gymnast of the Year and finished as a three-time All-American at NCAA Championships (all-around, vault and parallel bars), placing third in the all-around. He finished sixth (tied for fifth) in the all-around at 2024 Winter Cup. Moldauer, who competed at OU from 2016-19, won the senior men's all-around at 2023 and 2024 Winter Cup and was a 2020 Olympian.
The Xfinity U.S. Gymnastics Championships serves as the final stop before the 2024 Olympic Team Trials, which will be held June 27-30 in Minneapolis. The 2024-25 USA Gymnastics' National Teams for junior and senior men and women will be selected at the competition in Fort Worth and will determine the lineups for the Olympic Trials in Minneapolis later in June.
