Not only are the Sooners going for a seventh overall title, they will also be fighting for a third-straight national championship. Should Oklahoma win, they will be just the fourth team to win three in a row, joining Utah, Georgia and Florida. The Sooners have won three of the last four titles, taking home the crown in 2019, 2022 and 2023.

Five members of the No. 1 Oklahoma women's gymnastics team combined to capture a conference-leading 10 All-Big 12 accolades. This season marks the 15th straight year the Sooners have led the league in All-Big 12 selections and the 15th consecutive season the Sooners have earned at least eight spots on the All-Big 12 team.

Jordan Bowers, Audrey Davis and Ragan Smith ended the year as the No. 1 gymnasts in the nation on bars and beam, respectively. Bowers and Davis shared the top spot on the uneven bars, solidifying themselves as the top bars workers in the nation and providing an incredible 1-2 punch at the end of the lineup. With a near-perfect 9.995 NQS on beam. Smith once again finished the year as the top beam worker, earning six perfect 10s in her final season.

OU advanced to a 20th-straight NCAA Championship with its 14th-straight regional title. This is the 23rd overall NCAA Championship appearance by the Sooners and 17th under head coach K.J. Kindler.

The Sooners have tallied a nation-best 12 scores of 198-plus in 2024. Not only is this the best in the nation, it's the best in NCAA history, surpassing the previous record of 10. The Sooners held the previous record, achieving the feat on three occasions. The Sooners scored below a 198 just three times on the year and have not dipped below that mark since Jan. 26. OU has posted 11-straight marks of 198-plus this season, becoming the first school to ever do so. No school has posted more than four straight in history. The Sooners streak also included nine-straight scores of only 198.300+ and no other school in NCAA history has scored more than two consecutive scores that high.

With their appearance at the NCAA Championship this week, the Sooners are one of just two teams to advance to every NCAA Championship since 2004. Utah is the only other program to appear every year. Should the Sooners advance to Saturday's finals, they will be the only school since 2013 to make it to the finals every year.
